Managing Website Pages

You can manage your website pages using the Edit Pages section. The tasks you can perform here include:

You should set up and preview your site prior to editing pages. Become familiar with what your site looks like and make notes of what you want to change before editing the structure of your site.

Note: Some content on the standard pagesPrecreated pages provided with Site Builder. Your firm can add other custom pages as needed. is generated in other sections of the Site Builder. For these pages, you can only change the introductory text on this page. See About Standard Pages for more information.

ClosedAdding a Website Page

You can have up to 12 pages at the root level of your website. Only two levels of pages are permitted. To add a page, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Site Design > Edit Pages on the menu bar.
  3. Click the Add button , and then select the type of page to create. You can choose a custom page or one of the 10 standard pages included with Site Builder.
  4. Edit the information in each section as needed. If a section is collapsed, click the down arrowClosed in the section header to expand the section.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have made all needed changes.
  6. Click Accept to save your changes.
  7. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  8. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.
  9. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.

ClosedRenaming a Website Page

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Site Design > Edit Pages on the menu bar.
  3. In the navigation panel, select the page you want to rename.
  4. Enter the new name for the page in the Page Name box.
  5. Click Accept to save your changes.
  6. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  7. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.
  8. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.

ClosedRearranging Website Pages

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Site Design > Edit Pages on the menu bar.
  3. In the navigation panel, click and drag the page to its new location in the page list.
  4. Click Accept to save your changes.
  5. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  6. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.
  7. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.

ClosedDeleting a Website Page

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Site Design > Edit Pages on the menu bar.
  3. In the navigation pane, click the name of the page you want to delete, and then click the button.
  4. If there are subpages for the page you are deleting, choose one of the following options to indicate how Site Builder should handle the subpages:
    • Delete all pages. The page you selected and all its subpages are deleted.
    • Delete only the main page. The page you selected is deleted. The subpages are retained and placed at the root level of the site.
    • Cancel. No pages are deleted.
  5. Click Accept to save your changes.
  6. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  7. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.
  8. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.
