Kim A. Vandergrift, CPA, CGMA

Kim has over twenty-five years of public accounting experience, most of which was with a top 40 regional accounting firm. Kim has served a variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profits, financial institutions and benefit plans. Clients ranged from mid-market privately owned industries to publicly traded SEC registrants. Kim has assisted clients with addressing technical financial reporting issues, designing and documenting internal control structures, advising regarding financing needs, startup ventures, consulting regarding mergers and acquisitions, financial projections and management. Internally demonstrated leadership by mentoring and training staff, and serving on several committees responsible for designing and implementing training programs for clients and firm personnel and implementing new accounting standards for clients. Subsequent to regional firm employment, Kim served two years in chief accounting roles in private industry; duties included managing, supervising and training staff, preparation of financial reports and budgets for the Board of Directors, internal financial analysis used to evaluate the business and implementation of new computer systems.

OUTSIDE ORGANIZATION

• Served as both Valley Youth House Committee, Inc. Board and Finance Committee member and Audit Committee chairman from 2006 to 2011.
• Served as Board member and Treasurer for Leadership Lehigh Valley
• Served as Fund Raising Committee chairman for Boy Scouts of America Troup 79

EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg University – Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992. - Majored in Accounting and Minored in Economics
• Graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley in 2002 and Dale Carnegie in 2000
