Ray entered the income tax preparation industry in 1967 in St. Paul, MN. He passed the IRS Special Enrollment Exam in 1970. Ray is an Accredited Tax Adviser and Accredited Tax Preparer. He has managed tax offices for a subsidiary of St.Paul Insurance Companies, Form 1040 Income Tax Service, CenCor Income Tax and Triple Check Income Tax Services, moving to Des Moines from Omaha in 1975. He has served as a member of the IRS Midwest District Director’s Liaison Committee, the IRS District Director’s Electronic Filing Advisory Committee and past President of The Iowa Society of Enrolled Agents and servered on the board for the Iowa chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals. Ray has extensive experience in office computer systems and management. He has represented hundreds of clients before the IRS, authored and taught tax preparation courses since the late sixties. He completes 90 to 150 hours of continuing education each year, well beyond the required 24 hours.
