Publishing Your Site

Changes you make to your website are not visible to site visitors until you publish them. Publishing is the process of replacing the old files on your Web server with the newly updated files. In Site Builder, you can publish your updates by clicking the Publish button anywhere in the Wizard. All previously unpublished updates will be published, not just the updates for that particular page.

Tips: Keep in mind the following best practices when publishing updates to your site:

Always preview your updates before publishing them to your site. Preview buttons are located at the bottom of most Site Builder pages. Previewing allows you to identify any issues that need to be corrected before releasing the updates to the public.
Consider publishing large updates in stages. If you have many updates, or if your updates involve large files, publishing may take a while. Breaking updates into smaller portions can reduce the amount of time required for publishing.
Publish updates at times when you anticipate low site traffic. High site traffic can slow the publishing process.
