Alan M. Zusman, CPA has an extensive background in consumer finance, corporate and personal financial planning, tax planning and money management. Through Alan M. Zusman Accountancy Corporation, he has counseled his corporate and personal clients in most major aspects of financial and estate planning to minimize tax consequences, as well as to assure resources are in place for strategic financial decisions.
Zusman has been recognized as an expert witness in litigation, mediation and arbitration issues including business valuations, divorce, financial statements and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Zusman is a frequent speaker before national and international professional societies and local business groups. Part of his expertise focuses on support for physicians and others in the health care industries. He is also active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of CPA’s and the Healthcare Financial Planning Association.
Zusman’s professional career started upon graduation from UCLA in 1964, receiving a B.S. in business with an accounting major. He then passed the California CPA exams and was awarded the CPA certificate. In addition, Zusman completed UCLA’s Personal Financial Planning Program.
