Joel C. Scroggins, CPA was born in Columbus, Georgia on August 12, 1953 and has lived in Birmingham for most of his life. Joel graduated from Auburn University in 1978 with his Bachelor of Science degree. He earned Alabama Certified Public Accountant Certificate No. 2478 in 1981.

Joel is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama State Society of CPAs, and the Birmingham Chapter of the Alabama Society of CPAs. Joel is also involved in various civic activities in the community.
