Adding Financial Calculators to Your Site

As part of your Site Builder subscription, you can provide your site visitors with access to dozens of financial calculators. The calculators and tools provide answers to simple questions, but also encourage your clients to consult with you to make more informed financial decisions. Calculators display on your Financial Tools page.

Note: You can change the layout of the page where calculators are displayed. See Changing the Calculator Page Layout for more information.

To add financial calculators to your site, do the following: 

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Financial Tools > Calculators on the toolbar.
  3. Select whether to display calculators in a lightwindow A method of displaying content that doesn't require opening a new browser or popup window. Lightwindows display as a separate layer on top of an existing window.. If the lightwindow option is selected, clicking the calculator link will open the calculator in a new layer above the existing page instead of in a browser window.
  4. Do any of the following to select the calculators to display on your site:
    • Add or remove all available calculators. Click the green Select All or Deselect All button at the top of the page to add or remove all available calculators.
    • Add or remove individual calculators. Select the box beside a calculator to add it to your site, or clear the box for a calculator to remove it from your site.
  5. Click Accept to save your changes.

    6. Note: This button only displays if you have changed your selections.

  6. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a new different browser tab or window.
  7. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.

    8. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your Web site until you publish the updates.
