Managing the Info Centre Page
The Info Centre page of your website allows you to leverage up-to-date content created by Wolters Kluwer CCH. The content you select will display on the Info Centre page of your website. You can choose to provide your clients with information about upcoming tax and firm events, the client tax organizer, CRA forms and publications, and quick charts.
You can also select to add the Client Life-Cycle Reading Rack to your site.
You can access the pages for configuring the Info Centre by clicking Info Centre in the menu at the top of your screen.
A list of content that can be added to your site display. Content that you have already added to your website displays a check mark next to the content type.
Adding Basic Content
Click the following links to view information about adding that content to your website.
- Events Calendar - Tax Events. Tax events for two entities, federal and your province, are selected by default. To include additional tax entities, select the check box next to your selections.
- Events Calendar - Firm Events. You can add events that are specific to your firm, such as business hour changes, seminars, or holidays.
- Client Tax Organizer. The client tax organizer is used to gather information from clients.
- CRA Forms & Pubs. Select whether to link to PDFs of CRA forms and publications on your website.
- Quick Reference Charts. Select whether to include charts containing tax rate information for individuals and businesses on your website.
Adding the Life-Cycle Reading Rack to your Site
You can add the Life-Cycle Reading Rack to the Info Centre page of your website for an additional charge. The reading rack contains information and resources that can help guide your customers understand taxes in their personal and business life. The content is written in a way that is easy for visitors to understand. The guides in the reading rack include information about:
- Key tax principles
- Examples that illustrate complex tax rules
- Practise tips to save time, money, and litigation worries
- Cautions that warn of hidden dangers in the tax laws
