Integrating with CCH iFirm Portal

CCH iFirm Portal provides a secure location for exchanging files with your customers. If you use CCH iFirm Portal, you may want to add a link to the CCH iFirm Portal login page on your Web site. Adding this link will offer convenience for your clients. It also provides a way for you to present your Web services as an integrated whole.

To add a link to CCH iFirm Portal on your Web site, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Modules > CCH iFirm Portal on the toolbar. The Modules - CCH iFirm Portal page displays.
  3. Select Yes for the question Would you like to display a banner to CCH iFirm Portal on your Home page?
  4. Note: The banner is a link that your clients can click to access the CCH iFirm Portal login page.

  5. If needed, enter or edit the text in the Display Message box. The text you enter here displays when site visitors hover their pointers over the CCH iFirm Portal banner on your Web site.
  6. Select the style of banner you would like to display on your Web site.
  7. Tip: We recommend that you click the Template Default option, if available. This option has been designed to match the overall look of your site. The Template Default option is not available for all site templates.

  8. Click Accept to save your changes.
  9. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a new different browser tab or window.
  10. Click Publish to immediately update your Web site or click Next to continue to the next page.

Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your Web site until you publish the updates.
