Managing Firm Events on the Events Calendar

You can add your firm's special events to your website, such as business hour changes, seminars, or holidays.

ClosedAdding a Firm Event

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Info Center > Firm Events on the toolbar. The Info Center - Events Calendar - Firm Events page displays.
  3. Enter the new event's information in the fields.
    FieldDescription
    TitleEnter the event title that will display on the events calendar. The events calendar only displays one line of text for the title. We recommend keeping the title as short as possible. If there are additional event details, your clients can hover over the event to see the full title and details.
    StartingClick the calendar buttonClosed to select the starting date for the event.
    EndingClick the calendar buttonClosed to select the ending date for the event.
    TimeEnter the time of the event. There is no formatting restriction on the time format.
    LocationEnter the location of the event, such as the company or building name.
    AddressEnter the address of the event.
    DescriptionEnter the event description. For information on using the formatting tools, see Formatting Text.
    NameEnter the name of the event coordinator or other contact person.
    EmailEnter the email address for the event coordinator or other contact person.
    PhoneEnter the phone number for the event coordinator or other contact person.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Click Finalize Site to move to the Finalize page, or click Next to continue to the next page.

ClosedEditing a Firm Event

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Info Center > Firm Events on the toolbar. The Info Center - Events Calendar - Firm Events page displays.
  3. Click the EditClosed  button for the firm event you need to modify.
  4. Note: You cannot edit events that have passed.

  5. Edit the information for the event.
  6. Field Description
    Title Enter the event title that will display on the events calendar. The events calendar only displays one line of text for the title. We recommend keeping the title as short as possible. If there are additional event details, your clients can hover over the event to see the full title and details.
    Starting Click the calendar buttonClosed to select the starting date for the event.
    Ending Click the calendar buttonClosed to select the ending date for the event.
    Time Enter the time of the event. There is no formatting restriction on the time format.
    Location Enter the location of the event, such as the company or building name.
    Address Enter the address of the event.
    Description Enter the event description. For information on using the formatting tools, see Formatting Text.
    Name Enter the name of the event coordinator or other contact person.
    Email Enter the email address for the event coordinator or other contact person.
    Phone Enter the phone number for the event coordinator or other contact person.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Click Finalize Site to move to the Finalize page, or click Next to continue to the next page.

ClosedDeleting a Firm Event

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Info Center > Firm Events on the toolbar. The Info Center - Events Calendar - Firm Events page displays.
  3. Click the DeleteClosed  button for the firm event you need to remove. Events are displayed by date order.
  4. Note: You cannot delete events that have passed.

  5. Click OK on the confirmation message.
  6. Click Finalize Site to move to the Finalize page, or click Next to continue to the next page.
