Adding and Configuring Social Media Links

Using social media can help you market your services to people you cannot reach through more traditional media. If your firm has a social media presence, you may want to include links to the social media sites that you use on your site. Site Builder supports the following social media sites:

To add and configure social media links on your website, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Modules > Social Media on the toolbar. The Modules - Social Media page displays.
  3. Configure the links for the following social media sites as needed:

    4. ClosedFacebook

    1. To add a Facebook link to your website, select Yes for the question, "Show Facebook Link?"
    2. Enter the Web address for your firm's Facebook page.
    3. If needed, select the icon you want to use as the Facebook link on your website. Not all site styles provide a choice of icons. Some icons have been specially selected to match the overall look of the site style.
    4. If you want site visitors to be able to select the Facebook Like button on your website, select Yes for the question, "Show Facebook Like?" 
    5. If needed, select the icon you want to use as the Like icon on your website. Not all site styles provide a choice of icons.

    ClosedTwitter

    1. To add a Twitter link to your website, select Yes for the question, "Show Twitter Link?"
    2. Enter the Web address for your firm's Twitter page. Clicking the Twitter icon on your site will take the visitor to this page.
    3. If needed, select the icon you want to use as the Twitter link on your website. Not all site styles provide a choice of icons. Some icons have been specially selected to match the overall look of the site style.

    ClosedLinkedIn

    1. To add a LinkedIn link to your website, select Yes for the question, "Show LinkedIn Link?"
    2. Enter the Web address for your firm's LinkedIn page.
    3. If needed, select the icon you want to use as the LinkedIn link on your website. Clicking the icon on your site will take the visitor to your LinkedIn page. Not all site styles provide a choice of icons. Some icons have been specially selected to match the overall look of the site style.

    ClosedYouTube

    1. To add a YouTube link to your website, select Yes for the question, "Show YouTube Link?"
    2. Enter the Web address for your firm's YouTube page. Clicking the YouTube icon on your site will take the visitor to this page.
    3. If needed, select the icon you want to use as the YouTube link on your website. Not all site styles provide a choice of icons. Some icons have been specially selected to match the overall look of the site style.
  4. Select the page of your website where you want the social media links to display. You can choose the Home Page, the Contact Us page, or both. If your firm opts to send eNewsletters, you can select to display the social media icons in your eNewsletters as well.
  5. Click Accept to save your changes.
  6. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  7. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.

    8. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.
