Dan Nolten, CPA
Tax Manager

Dan has been with BJYE since 2005 and has over 15 years of experience in the Accounting field. He received his education in Accounting from Highline Community College and the University of Washington - Tacoma. He specializes in Individual, Estate & Trust, S & C Corporation, Partnership/LLC, Federal and State income tax issues and tax preparation. Dan is a part of the BJYE Community Action Committee and Biz to Biz Federal Way North and enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his family.

Joan Pruett, CPA
Audit Director

Joan started with BJYE in 2017 and brings over 29 years of public accounting experience. She received her B.S. in Accounting at Central Washington University. Her focus is to provide value added business advice and quality audit, accounting and consulting services. Joan is currently a member of the WSCPA and AICPA.


Craig Mayers, MACC,CPA, CGMA
Audit Manager

 

Craig returned to BJYE in 2018 after six years away growing his public accounting resume. He brings more than 20 years of accounting experience to the firm. Craig received a BA from the University of Washington and a Master of Accountancy from Washington State University. He focuses on assurance and consulting services. Craig is a member of the AICPA and WSCPA, and holds public accountant licenses in Washington, Oregon and California.

 


Michael Case
Audit Supervisor

Michael has been with Brantley Janson since 2018 and brings with him over 20 years of audit experience. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and specializes in audits, reviews and compilations for non-profit, government and healthcare organizations. In his spare time you will find him outdoors hiking with his Golden Retriever, Yukon.

Tim Easley, CPA
Audit Supervisor

Tim has been with Brantley Janson since 2019 and brings over 10 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Thomas D. Bass CPA
Tax Supervisor

Tom has been with Brantley Janson since 2019 and brings 20 years of experience in a variety of accounting roles in private industry and public accounting.

 


A Doell

Angela Doell, CPA
Tax Supervisor

Angela has been with Brantley Janson since late 2018 and comes from the firm Russell Associates, PLLC.  With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, she reviews tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals as well as preparing returns for estates and trusts. She received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Washington. She is a member of the AICPA and holds an elected position on her church’s finance council.

 


Ashley (Miles) Fogelquist, CPA
Tax Supervisor

Ashley has been with Brantley Janson since 2013. She received her Bachelors in Accounting from Central Washington University. She specializes in Corporate, Partnership, Estate, and complex individual tax returns along with Not for profit and audit and attestation. Ashley is also a fluent Spanish speaker, enjoys taking road trips and spending time with her family.

 

A Folger

Alex Folger, CPA
Tax Supervisor

Alex started with Brantley Janson in 2018 and is in his 5th year in the public accounting field.  He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Washington State University in 2015, and obtained his CPA designation in the state of Washington in 2017. He holds active memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of the office, Alex serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Network of Tacoma-Pierce County, and enjoys spending time with friends and family while enjoying many of the outdoor luxuries that the great state of Washington has to offer.   


Rob Lindgren

Rob Lindgren, CPA / CFE
Tax Supervisor

Rob Lindgren is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. A graduate of Central Washington University, he is experienced with issues related to small business taxation, invdividual tax returns and tax planning. He is active in the community and serves on the boards of the Northwest Trek Foundation and Multi-Service Center and is a member of the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce.  Rob enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.


Rachel Ostheller, CPA
Tax Supervisor

Rachel Ostheller joined Brantley Janson in 2016 after interning for two years while she finished college. She received her accounting degree from University of Washington-Tacoma. Rachel specializes in corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. Rachel enjoys playing games and spending time with her family and friends. 


Roy Helms
Senior Accountant

Roy joined Brantley Janson in 2019 with experience in indivual, corporate, and partnership tax.


Austin Perlatti
Senior Accountant

Austin joined Brantley Janson as an intern in 2018. Upon completion of his internship, he was promoted to full-time staff. He received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Washington and is currently working toward his CPA accreditation. Austin is a member of the BJYE Communities in Action Committee and the WSCPA. When he isn’t studying for his CPA exams, Austin enjoys spending time with friends, watching sports, and golfing.

Perisha Milikich
Staff Accountant

Perisha joined Brantley Janson in 2018. He received a degree in Finance from West Texas A&M University and a fifth-year Certificate in Accounting from University of Washington. Perisha is a member of the AIPCA and the Washington Society of CPAs. When he is not studying for the CPA exam, Perisha enjoys spending time with family, hiking, or playing tennis.


Jonathan Rivera
Staff Accountant

Jonathan joined Brantley Janson in 2018 after working several years in public service with the King County Library System. He graduated from the University of Washington-Tacoma with a BA in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his CPA license. Outside the office, Jonathan’s favorite activities include tri sports, tinkering with technology, travel, and spending time with the people closest to him.


Trenton Simpson
Staff Accountant

Trenton joined Brantley Janson as an intern in 2019. Upon completion of his internship, he joined the firm as a full-time staff accountant. He received his Master of Accounting Degree and B.S. in Business from the University of Washington.


Jerry Knutzen, CPA
Associate

Jerry has been with Brantley Janson since 1994 and has 48 years of experience in the Accounting field. He received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Washington. He specializes in audit and consulting services for a variety of clients for BJYE. Jerry is an honorary member of the AICPA, current  member of the WSCPA, current board member of Orion Industries, and the current treasurer for Marine View Presbyterian Church.


Donna Snell
Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor

Donna has been with Brantley Janson since 1998 and specializes in QuickBooks consulting, including QuickBooks setup, payroll, and data entry. Donna also specializes in payroll, excise and personal property taxes, and assists with payroll processing and bookkeeping for many of our clients as part of our Small Business Services Department.


Kasey Van Cleave

Kasey joined Brantley Janson in 2019. As part of our Small Business Group she provides payroll processing and bookkeeping services.


Amanda Jeffryes
SBS Supervisor

Amanda has been with Brantley Janson since 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in the Accounting field. She received her BBA from the University of New Mexico. Amanda oversees the Small Business Services team that specializes in bookkeeping and payroll services.


Kelli Rose

Kelli joined Brantley Janson in 2017. As part of our Small Business Services Department, she provides payroll processing and bookkeeping services.

Kelli enjoys photography and bowling in her free time.


Julie Brauns
SBS Staff

Julie has been with Brantley Janson since 1992 and has 30 years of experience in the Accounting field. Julie received her education from Humboldt State University and specializes in bookkeeping, payroll, license applications, and excise tax. Julie is a board member of the Puget Sound Dock Dogs and enjoys hiking and competing in Dock Dog events with her dog.


Melissa Henry
SBS Staff

Melissa has been with Brantley Janson since 2016 and has over 9 years of experience in the accounting field.  As part of our Small Business Services Department, she provides payroll processing and bookkeeping services.

Melissa enjoys the outdoors, taking road trips and spending time with friends and family.


Sandra Lynch Holmes
Administrator

Sandi joined Brantley Janson in 2016. Previously, she held leadership positions in administration, compliance and resource development at area non-profits including Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County and the Museum of Glass. Sandi is a graduate of the University of Washington in business administration and received her JD from Seattle University School of Law.


Christina Livingston
Administrative Staff

Christina has been with Brantley Janson since 2011 and has been in the Accounting industry for over 10 years. Christina is pursuing her BA from the University of Phoenix. She specializes in tax administrative support. Christina enjoys camping and spending time with her family.


Alexandria "Alex" White
Administrative Staff

Alex joined Brantley Janson in 2017. She brings extensive administrative and executive support experience from a variety of industries, most recently as the office manager at the Kent Chamber of Commerce.
