Adding a Link to CCH Axcess™ Portal

Your firm can securely exchange files with its customers through CCH Axcess Portal. If your firm licenses this module, you can add a link to the login page on your website. Adding a link will offer convenience for your clients. It also provides a way for you to present your Web services as an integrated whole.

Note: You can also add a Portal login page to your site. This page will allow your clients to securely log in to Portal. See Adding a CCH Axcess™ Portal Login Page for more information.

To add a link to Portal on your website, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Site Builder account.
  2. Click Modules > CCH Axcess Portal on the toolbar.
  3. Select Yes for the question Would you like to display a banner to CCH Axcess Portal on your Home page?
  4. If needed, enter or edit the text in the Display Message box. The text you enter here displays when site visitors hover their pointers over the CCH Axcess Portal banner on your website.
  5. If needed, select the style of banner you would like to display on your website. Not all site styles provide a banner choice.
  6. Click Accept to save your changes.
  7. Click Preview to see what your site will look like when your changes are applied. The preview opens in a different browser tab or window.
  8. Click Publish to immediately update your website, or click Next to continue to the next page.
  9. Note: Changes you make in Site Builder are not applied to your website until you publish the updates.
