Workflow for Creating Your Website

By default, all new Site Builder sites include eight standard pages which are pre-configured to include content. Because this basic site structure is already set up for you, you could subscribe to Site Builder, log in to your site, and immediately publish your site without any further configuration.

To modify the default website, follow the workflow below. Use the Next buttons at the bottom of each page to progress to the next page of the wizard..

Tip: After changing a page, preview the updated website before continuing to the next step.

  1. On the Style Selection page, select a site style.
  2. On the Firm Info page, click the link for each type of Closedfirm information you want to add to your site.
  3. On the Info Centre page, click Configure for each type of Closedcontent to include on the Info Centre page of your site.

    By default, the following Info Centre content is selected to display:

    You can also display Quick Reference charts, which contain tax rate information for individuals and businesses, on your site.

  4. To include newsletter content on your site, set your newsletter options. Then, select the Closednewsletter content to display.

    You can select from the following types of content:

  5. Select any calculators to include on your site using the Financial Tools page.
  6. On the Links page, select the hyperlinks to other sites that you want to display on your site.
  7. Select other ClosedWeb-based applications that you want to integrate with your site on the Modules page.
  8. Add, delete, rename, or rearrange pages using the Edit Pages section. This is also the location where you can enter keywords for search engine optimization.
  9. To add scripts to your page, enter the necessary information using the Webmaster Tools page.

Before You Publish

Once you have completed the wizard, preview your site thoroughly. If you need to make any changes, you can use the menu links at the top of the window to move to pages requiring edits. Preview buttons display at the bottom of most wizard pages.

Publishing

To make your site available to customers, click Publish on any of the Site Builder wizard pages.

Tracking Site Statistics

You can monitor the amount of traffic on your site using the Site Statistics page. You can use the default analytics tool provided by Site Builder, or, if you prefer, you can use a third-party tool like Google Analytics.
